Yeah, becuase your life gauge is 1000 and some battles go over 1000 due to the amount of ability's and bakugan are on the field, So shouldn't SM make the life gauage 5000 or something?

I read somewhere that your lifegauge only goes down by the difference in g-powers. i.e., I beat you with 1320g and you had 1010g. Your lifegauge would only go down by 310 points, because that's how much higher my g-power was than yours. That seems to make more sense.
