How Can We Tell If a Bakugan Is Real or Fake?

Many are still asking about how to avoid buying fake Bakugan, and how to tell the difference between the real Bakugan and the fake ones. There is already a post here that talks on how to identify fake, bootleg, or counterfeit Bakugan but we decided to make a separate page for the benefit of our readers. Included in the page are tips on what to look at in order to judge if a Bakugan is real or not. I have also included videos from avid Bakugan collectors and their take on how to spot fake Bakugan (thanks to BakuganCollectorX and Kohdok, not to mention Youtube).

Official Gundalian Invaders Bakugan – May & June 2010 Previews

Finally! Some news on the next set of Gundalian Invaders Bakugan to be released! We won't have to wait long. Here's a preview from Spin Master and Lord Darkus about the newest Bakugan coming our way this May and June. We've also updated the archives to include the additional information of each Bakugan featured.

Lord Darkus previews the unreleased, upcoming brand new Core, Super Assault, and Battle Gear Bakugan that will be released in the May and June 2010 wave including:

CORE: Aranaut, Akwimos, Krakix, Sabator, Lumino Dragonoid, and Hakapoid
SUPER ASSAULT: Glotronoid, Splight, Raptorix, Mystic Chancer, and Merlix
BATTLE GEAR: Boomix, Chompixx, Battle Sabre, and Zukanator

Bakugan Gameplay FAQ 03.26.10

Hello Brawlers!

We have another update to Bakugan's official Gameplay FAQ. It's about the turn progression of our Battle Gear and Bakugan Trap as we use it in our brawls.

Update ver. 03.26.10

Battle Gear Turn Progression Addressed:

Can I use all my available Battle Gear and/or Trap on a single Gate Card (or in a single battle)?

Yes! You can do the following:
1) Use two Battle Gear on your standing Bakugan,
2) Use two Trap on a standing Bakugan, or
3) Use one Battle Gear and one Trap on a standing Bakugan.

When using more than one Battle Gear or Trap be sure to process them one at a time, and in the proper turns with your opponent – Brawler #1 plays a Battle Gear or Trap and fully resolves its effect. Next, Brawler #2 plays a Battle Gear or Trap and fully resolves its effect. Then, back to Brawler #1 to play another Battle Gear or Trap, and so forth.

We have finally added the latest Bakugan cards that was just released. The different sets of the Bakugan Season 3 Gundalian Invaders cards can now be viewed through our Bakugan Cards page. Or you can go directly here:

New Set of Bakugan To Be Released This 2010

A lot of us are really looking forward to new additions to our Bakugan collections, and so we're all excited to find out when the next set of the Bakugan series will be released. There's nothing definite yet, except that the set is slated to be out this year. It could be early this year, or it could be later. There's a whole lot of waiting for us to do till the new Bakugan are out, that's for sure. For now, there's only the pictures and their tentative names:

Lumagrowl
Dharak
Avior
Snapzoid
Strike Flier
Phosphos
Helix Dragonoid
Coredem

The new set of Bakugan introduces a universal weapons system, where the Bakugan will have tabs and a magnet in their back when they are opened from their closed ball form. The Bakugan will be able to use "Weapon Traps," which are apparently still a tentative part of the set. We'll see.

Another interesting news that comes with the new set is regarding the color of the Darkus Bakugan. Particularly, the secondary color, which will be changed from purple to green, like this:

Bakugan Buzz New Site Updates

I wanted to create a quick post about the latest site updates & also get some feedback from the Buzz community. As you've noticed we've updated the overall design & layout of the site. Hopefully we've made it easier to find the more popular sections of the site (ie. Watch Bakugan, Brawlers Forum & the Bakugan Store). The only real new section of the site at this point is the upgrade to the store where you can buy Bakugan Toys, we've increased our inventory & made it easier to view all the items as well as some additional information. Please feel free to add your comments or thoughts on the new design & updates to the site. If you run into any errors on the site, I'd appreciate your feedback in the comments section below.
