What if you could be a “product tester” for Spin Master?  What would you change about Bakugan, if anything?  How would you make the products better?  Would you add new features or make up new rules to the game?  How might you change the way they market Bakugan? Maybe you even have a new idea for a marble or a spin-off series.

Bandai, makers of Ben 10, Power Rangers, and Harumika, has done just that.  They recently held a contest and from the entries chose 8-year-old James Childs to join their toy testing team.  Check out his first review found on YouTube:

Okay, he’s just a little guy, but what a great job anyway.  He is the first to try out the new products, he gets to keep the duplicates, and many of the new toys are donated to his local children’s hospital.

So, here’s your chance to share your new ideas with Spin Master.  It’s buried a little deep, but you can submit your inventions to Spin Master through the website.  You do have to be over the age 18 to submit, so if you’re not, get an adult to help out.  Visit the Spin Master website, www.spinmaster.com.  Select Company at the top of the page.  Under About Us choose Company Contacts.  In this pop-up scroll down until you see Inventors.  Just follow that link until you get to the submission form.  Read the fine print- there’s not much- and submit your idea.  The idea doesn’t even have to be a new Bakugan idea.  Maybe you have something completely different in mind.  Never know where it might lead!

i dont think i would take the time to do that

    2. I wonder if I should do it or not…
I’m thinking of some new Bakugan Ideas…

    3.   Ω Hydranoid says: May 29th, 2011 at 7:22 pm

spinmaster will probably take your idea without iving you credit…

    4. Well, I think that is part of the problem– we aren’t willing to take the time to do something like that. Let’s take for instance the fact that Bakugan Dimensions is shutting down. Maybe if they heard the voices of true Bakugan fans and supporters like you, Dimensions wouldn’t be shutting down. I don’t know for sure, but it can’t hurt anything to let them know you are out there, you’re watching, you’ve got buying power, and you expect the best in Bakugan. Why not let them know what you think (respectfully, of course)! It’s as simple as jumping onto the Spin Master contact page and using their email form or just give them a call.

    5. You should, Raymond. While you’re at it, check out the Spin Master Innovation Fund— you could get $50,000 to launch your idea or invention! I’ll be blogging about it soon so watch for more information.

Dear people half you are pussys so I have decided to leave temporarily to watch some porn in 3 days I will have decided weather or not to sell all of the bakugan or keep them till the end of bakugan- sincerely dharak1

Btw I saw this on market place like 3 weeks ago when I was checking silver (yes we have investments cos like I said were loaded over 28000 dollars of silver to be precise) sooo later

    9. @bakuganbuzz they know we want to keep BD. They probably KNEW that when they made the decision. Sadly it’s clearly not something we can control.

    10. Well. I think PLENTY of us have been very vocal about the early termination of Bakugan Dimensions ! It is NOT RIGHT to cut it part way through a season and hide this fact for 4 or 5 months when they started their YROD(featured in my newest MISSING DNA SCANDAL YOU TUBE VIDEO) factory order of packaging change. They kept us in the DARK and the Game NEVER even left BETA. They CHEATED US !! Kids spent huge $$$$ on Bakugan and time to level up all for NOTHING. It is beyond a TRAVESTY, it is OUT RIGHT BETRAYAL or KNIFE IN THE BACK OF THEIR FANS !! They should AT LEAST continue Dimensions until the end of this season OR until the end of Bakugan !!

    11. SpinMaster FAILS so much it is embarrassing. This then(the closure of BD mid stream while still in BETA) might be said as their ultimate downfall as SALES will PLUMMET because of their handling in this matter. Some would argue rightfully so. Still, it is sad because BAKUGAN has so MUCH potential and they just drive it into the ground with carelessness of their prized brand that we all love and collect. (shakes head). P.S. I tried to tell them to hire me as an advisor or in head of their Bakugan Division but they never wanted to interview me. I even contacted Lord Darkus’ boss to see if I could take over the position but I would have had to move to LA AND they would have wanted me doing Lord Darkus’ job in all BRANDS like airhogs, redakai, zoobles, mighty beans etc.. ! NO THANKS ! My expertise is BAKUGAN and I could have helped them WIN SO MUCH MORE and FAIL SO MUCH LESS…but alas they thought they knew it all and had it all covered.

It is tiring at times, but we GOTTA FIGHT FOR WHAT’S RIGHT, BEFORE IT’S GONE !!! ……. GONE !!! …….. GONE !!! ……. THIS IS BAKUGAN !!

    12. YEAH! yeah know what….. your probly the only one i can aggree with right now! WE GOTTA FIGHT FOR WHATS RIGHT BEFORE ITS GONE! BECAUSE THIS IS BAKUGAN!

Dharak1 is starting to sound like someone from a very popular live action-machinima hybrid series made by a canadian machinima director from his apartment.

    14. I don’t know what to put for company in the servey or can it be left blank?

    15.   Ω Hydranoid says: May 30th, 2011 at 5:17 pm

READ THE FINE PRINT! IT SAY THEY OWN YOUR IDEA IF YOU SEND IT TO THEM!

    16. I am a judge on a Bakugan Tournament in my country, and I can tell you that it is non of the countries that Ability Cards are translated for. My biggest problem is with kids that are not able to read even our own language, and not to mention English or German…
So I am running from one table to another and translating Ability cards, at the beginning it was very hard, now it gets easier, but still it would be perfect if kids can have Ability Cards in their own language!

    17. Another thing is why can’t spinmaster make a solid color b2 hydranoid, not in those stupid masquerade packs. and sell it not transluscent.
And why don’t we have any of the bakugan japan has from new vestoria like mk2 helios, master ingram, and other cool ones, I also think they should make some of the other bakugan like wanto, the one eyed bat bakugan, and also the 6 gate keepers of naga, and what about silent naga and ultimate dragonoid.
another is why can’t they make a section in BD look like interspace like in the anime as the center not like the Dan’s town but start in interspace. and they should also make it where it can be permenant game where you can by a game controller and use it on your computer, and also add head sets where you can actually be talking to someone.

    18.   Ω Hydranoid says: May 30th, 2011 at 7:22 pm

I gave you guys this link 5 times already! you cam buy japanese bakugan here. http://www.1999.co.jp/search_e.asp?Typ1_c=101&scope=0&scope2=0&itkey=bakugan

    19. Raymond, you can leave it blank. And despite what Hydranoid says, they don’t want to take your idea. That’s why you should only give a general description. Then if they are interested they will send a non-disclosure agreement which protects your ideas before speaking further with them.

    20.   Ω Hydranoid says: May 30th, 2011 at 8:36 pm

read the fine print. it says they own your idea in business language.

    21.   Dharak1 says: May 30th, 2011 at 9:51 pm

Ya they sent me one boom 9 weeks later guess who had the general idea for vertexes nano

    22.   Dharak1 says: May 30th, 2011 at 10:12 pm

      He means in store hydranoid

    23. they could’ve improved it

    24. Ok so I sent spinmaster an idea of what bakugan they should make, something they can add to bakugan.

    25.   Ω Hydranoid says: May 31st, 2011 at 2:34 pm

      you wont get any credit.

    26. i am submitting a new bakugan design.
